The 2015 Honda HR-V Features Bring Something New
There are few things that our sales team at Tri-State Honda Dealers get more excited for than the announcement of a brand new Honda model like the 2015 HR-V, and while features have yet to be set in stone, we’re eager to talk about this wonderful new small crossover and just what it may be able to offer you.
Read on to hear more about the new HR-V, debuted at the 2014 New York International Auto Show.
A New Breed of Crossover
Drivers may find the 2014 Honda CR-V just right for their needs, but many automakers have a smaller crossover option, and soon Honda will be one of them. With the 2015 Honda Fit coming soon, it was only a matter of time before we saw another vehicle based on that same platform, and the New York Auto Show brought that to the forefront.
The 2015 HR-V will be based on the Fit platform and is set to bring its sleek styling to the streets of America by this coming Winter.
“Both Fit and HR-V demonstrate how great things can come in small packages, and no one does this better than Honda,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda automobile division for American Honda. “Together these models also represent Honda’s step-by-step expansion of our production in the region, which has been key to our success in America for more than 30 years.”
In the Meantime
It will be a little while before we have more news on the HR-V, so if you’re seeking an affordable and well-equipped crossover, you can either wait, or you can visit a Tri-State Honda Dealer and take the 2014 CR-V for a test drive. The CR-V is a bit bigger, but that just means more passenger space and more overall storage room.
As far as compromises go, we’d say that’s a pretty good one.
