Edmunds’ Best Retained Value Awards
The Best Retained Value Awards by Edmunds recognize outstanding vehicles that have the highest projected private party residual value after five years. Vehicles that hold on to their value for a longer period are a great benefit whether you’re financing a lease, reselling, or trading in for a new model. Three Honda models have earned an award in their respective classes:
The Honda Civic is a perennial favorite among generations of drivers. The Civic offers versatile and dynamic road performance with Edmunds noting that the “ride quality expertly balances comfort and athleticism.” Available in a coupe, sedan, or hatchback version, the Civic is also versatile inside the cabin with plenty of space for both passengers and cargo. Standard features include a multi-angle rearview camera, connectivity options, and a long list of comfort and convenience equipment to make day-to-day life on the road more enjoyable.
The Honda Accord is a sophisticated and elegant sedan. The 2018 model has a choice of two turbocharged engines that enhance the handling and provide quick acceleration, which helps in trickier driving situations such as merging or passing on the highway. The Accord is also one of the most well-equipped vehicles on the road with standard features such as dual-zone automatic climate control, push button start, and Honda Sensing, a suite of driver-assistive technology features.
As a crossover SUV, the Honda CR-V strikes a balance between function and comfort. With available AWD and a versatile rear seat at a 60/40 split that allows for several different seating and cargo configurations, the CR-V is quite a capable vehicle. But the CR-V also adds comfort, convenience, and even luxury inside the cabin with standard and available options such as performance-boosting active safety features, smartphone integration, and leather-trimmed seating.
